This is the Burlington Recording 4-Slot Plastic Splicing and Editing Block with 2 Tape-Lock Keys.

This is a Unique 4-Slot Combination Splicing Block for 1/8" 1/4" 1/2" & 1" Audio or Video Tape Formats with 4 countersunk and a proprietary center tape channel with 45 and 90 degree cut slots.

This Splicing Block includes 2 Optional Tape-Lock Keys, They are used to hold the tapes from moving around while splicing is in progress. Depending on the tape you are Editing, in the corresponding width insert the Tape-Lock Key into the slot of the block on top of the tape either vertically and horizontally, then the tape is locked in place.

This is an economical Splicing Block all-in-one combination for splicing or editing.
